Seven Springs Perennials
Aaron & Andrew · Havre de Grace & Chadds Ford
Bi-weekly Fridays
Locally-grown flowers & herbs
Seven Spring Perennials is kicking off their first season of growing flowers, medicinal herbs, culinary herbs on 3 acres of their Havre de Grace farm. They are also connected to the local community around Kennett as part of Styer’s Peonies in Chadds Ford.
Every other Friday, Aaron & Andrew will bring cut flowers — from bouquets, to make-your-own buckets, to dried wreaths and arrangements. Early in the season, herbs will be sold fresh and moving into the later season will be sold as tea and spice blends.
Working toward organic certification on their Havre de Grace farm, Aaron & Andrew feel that regenerative agriculture is the only sustainable future of food production. They recently planted 6 acres of Chinese Chestnut trees, elderberries, hazelnuts and figs, which will be ready to begin harvesting for food crops in 3-5 years. They also plan too graze cattle and sheep (which will be harvested for meat) in the alleyways of these trees and shrubs, following a silvopasture model.
